The idea for SunShine began in 1992 with the dream of one lady - Pearl Smith.

The Sunshine Project is a non-profit making charity in the UK established to provide funding and aid to the needy children of Luxor ,Egypt.

This is done through the Sunshine Foundation located in Luxor ,Egypt. The Sunshine Foundation in Luxor offers a home, care, Shelter, education, recreation and health facilities to abandoned, orphaned or needy children of Luxor.’

Most of the children that are cared for by the Foundation come to Sunshine when just a few days old. As with any new born baby, they are very much in need of love and care, Sunshine will be their home and family for as long as they need our help. Read our History
